Hello, my name is Tom Barnes. Since December 1986 (Cantata Singers of Ottawa: St Nicholas Cantata by Benjamin Britten at St Joseph's Church) I have recorded for the archives of many of Ottawa's choirs, soloists and instrumentalists. Whether an audition, public performance, a sampler or music destined for a CD release - I believe my love of music shines through. If you are unable to play your old recordings (78rpm disc, mono LP, various open reel tape formats, cassettes, DAT tapes, etc.) I can copy your material onto a CD.

My experience includes 30 years in audio sales and service, computer-related setup and maintenance, radio broadcasting and technical services, database management and, recently, library information systems. I volunteer as one of the coordinators of the Kelly McGinnis Library in Ottawa, the largest glbt lending library in Canada. I served as Treasurer of the Ottawa Men's Chorus (a registered charity) for 4 years.

I trained on the piano, organ and cello, and my interests include photography, humour, films, and, recently, fountain building!

Odd Bits has information on buying ink in bulk for a bubblejet or inkjet printer. I figured that on separate colour inks it worked out to 20 refills for the price of 1 retail refill. Not bad!
